When Supreme Court gave the builder Jayesh Shah 60 days to remove the debris he had dumped in Survey 344, he had the shamelessness to ask for another 4 weeks at the very end of the deadline on the 1st of April 2011. Surprisingly the Supreme court allowed him four more weeks!

Now we see what he has been doing in this mangrove forest all these days!

April 10th 2011 photo showing Fresh bund repair in Survey 344

These shocking pictures reveal that not only has he wilfully disobeyed the court, but also indulged in FRESH bund building to further block sea water to the mangroves.

What more evidence is needed for such a criminal action? Let Anna Hazare’s victory not be in vain anymore. We await justice.

I think that we, the NLRRF are not doing enough, we are not standing up to our commitments. we are not comming out in numbers, nither are we generous enough in our funding of the Foroum. If we really want to make a difference we must sacrifice a lot of of our time and a little money [just the cost of a ltr: of soft drink or a small pizza a month]from each family will swell our coffer. lastly I would request all our proffessionals to dedicate at least 2 hours a month to a Brain Storming session. Pleas lets start this AS OF NOW.
